We are a family-run 19th century historic farm originally constructed as the one room Ward School House – Fremont’s 2nd school! Embellished by the turn-of-the-century Bungalow style architecture with its street-facing gables, wide overhanging eves and a unique front porch, we also host an awe-inspiring water tower running on well water and a majestic red barn. Nestled in the mission hills of Fremont CA, we are minutes away from the city center!
It is our passion at Peace Village to create venues to nurture the ‘whole’ family while organically building community. Whether this means weekend workshops for parents on the elements of a nurturing home, a mixed age program for toddlers and preschoolers where the awe and wonder of childhood can unfold, a one-stop-shop for homeschooling classes to support the exhausted driving mother, afterschool classes to contribute hands-on farming components, rejuvenation time for mothers while her children are engaged or meaningful gatherings on the farm. We are committed to nurturing families as we all find a home on an urban family farm and enjoy its historical depth.
