New Guests in the Garden — Gophers!

We have new guests in our Family Garden who are enjoying our vegetables from under the ground. These guests are gophers who have an amazing tunneling and burrowing system.

Taking the most animal conscious approach, we’ve decided to protect our raised beds by putting wire mesh almost two feet under each bed….allot of hard work, but it will be well worth it!.
