Field Trips

Take your class to learn at Peace Village! School teachers have the option of choosing a curriculum theme that a Peace Village teacher will build upon for the day’s visit. Topics of organic farming and gardening, food production, ecology and science can be integrated. Learning is hands-on and sometimes introduces kids to new experiences. Field trips are made to be fun, challenging and thought-provoking. Snacks and lunch breaks can be accommodated depending on time of visit.

General Field Trip Schedule:

(15 min) Opening Circle

(30 min) Animal Engagement Activity

(15 min) Low Energy Focus Activity on topics discussed

(15 min) High Energy Activity, e.g. Educational Game, Team Building Exercise

(15 min) Closing Circle
