Sacred Knowledge for Families with Ust. Murabit Benavidez

Ever found yourself questioning how us as parents are to raise our children when the doors of sacred knowledge seem so difficult to open? How is the next generation going to carry the weight of the world’s challenges when their parents were spiritually isolated?  In an effort to revive those days when we basked in the light of sacred knowledge, welcome to “Sacred Knowledge for Families” with Ustadh Murabit Benavidez!  This program is especially designed for parents while their children stay engaged on the farm and associate wonderful memories with the experience.

Islamic Belief (Aqeedah – Creed Of Imam Al Tahawi): What are the tenets of my belief?  The textual knowledge is imparted piece meal.  Followed by an engaging discussion on how to actualize the meanings in our belief.  Bring to the table un-resolved issues, questions you haven’t been able to answer and anything that will help your family stay grounded inshaAllah.

Purification of the Heart: children model after us parents and thus the well being of the family is at the heart of actively struggling with our spiritual diseases. However, before anyone can treat a disease, he/she must first be able to diagnose that one indeed exists. This class is the fiqh of the diseases of the Heart which is considered a foundational component of obligatory knowledge we are responsible for.
